My Story

A New York native, I studied for a career in the arts but was ultimately drawn to technology and its role in enabling art, design, and culture. My father, a gifted painter and commercial artist, was among the earliest adopters of computer-based design (an original Macintosh Quadra owner), exposing me to computers and basic programming at an early age.

After leaving university, I recognized the potential of the web and early mobile applications, combining my creative instincts with technical expertise to help build some of the earliest online commerce and financial trading platforms.

My career has evolved from small business owner and engineering team leader to executive leadership roles driving global digital innovation, commerce, and transformation initiatives. With deep expertise in technology stacks, digital product, and data, I’ve led revenue growth, scaled digital teams, and supported brand revitalization for multiple global organizations.

As a consultant, I’ve worked across diverse industries—including aerospace, manufacturing and the U.S. Military, training and advising teams on Agile team management, data applications, and business intelligence, while authoring content on Excel, PowerBI, and Python.

Additional experience as a featured speaker at industry conferences, an adjunct professor at both FIT and Parsons School of Design, and authoring several technical books and articles on behalf of Adobe and Microsoft.

My awards and honors include a Technical Emmy Award (with Disney), multiple Webby Awards, Cannes Lion and One Show awards, and recognition as one of WWD’s Top 50 People Moving Beauty Into the Future.
